Westcare Early Learning Centre is a purpose-built child care centre, that provides quality education and care to children aged from 6 weeks to 5 years of age. We are committed to providing an enriching learning environment for every child who joins us. We aim to support children in their transition from home by creating an environment that is extension of the child’s home, and creates a strong sense of wellbeing.

Our excellent facilities have been designed to encourage exploration. They invoke imagination and wonder for children.

Our centre director, Rachael.

Rachael has been in the childcare industry for over 10 years, she holds a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care and is now currently studying and completing her Graduate Diploma of Education in Montessori studies. Rachael is passionate about early childhood education and enjoys being a part of the special early years in each child’s development.

“I absolutely love my job . I love the relationships that I get to have with the children and their families. I also love becoming an extension of the children’s home and watching them grow and develop throughout their time at Westcare ELC”

Rachael believes that children are capable learners that thrive in early childhood settings when relationships between family and educators are well-established with open communication.

Educators’ professional development and growth is one of her passions, this helps each educator reach their full potential.

She believes in providing Educators with regular development to ensure that learning programs, theories and early childhood philosophies reflect new and contemporary practices that enrich children’s learning and development.

“As a parent of 2 Adult and one teen children, I know how much we want the best for our children. At Westcare Early Learning Centre we share the goal in seeking to give our children every available opportunity to excel, grow and develop in a secure, comfortable learning environment.”

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We enrolled our son at just 7.5 months old, and it was one of the best decisions we've made as parents. He is now 10 months and absolutely thrives there — the moment we walk in, his face lights up!
The staff are incredibly caring, attentive, and professional. You can tell they genuinely love the little ones in their care. As first-time parents leaving such a young baby, we had our worries, but the team made us feel completely at ease from day one. They keep us updated throughout the day and always go the extra mile.
The environment is clean, safe, and wonderfully stimulating for babies. Our little guy is hitting his milestones beautifully, and we have no doubt the nurturing care he receives there plays a big role in that.

My son Andrew has been there since the nursery room, and I still remember how nervous I was at the beginning. But Nani and Nisha made that transition so gentle and reassuring. They cared for him with so much love and patience — it truly felt like leaving him with family.

Now that Andrew is in the waddler room, Sachi and Jessica have been just as wonderful. They are so attentive, kind, and genuinely engaged with the children. I can see how happy Andrew is every day, and how much he is learning and growing.

I also really appreciate Lindsey and the management team. They are always approachable, supportive, and clearly care about both the children and the families. The whole centre has such a warm, welcoming feel.

It gives me real peace of mind knowing my son is in such caring hands. Thank you to the entire Westcare team for everything you do — we truly appreciate you.

The staff are dedicated, caring and easy to talk to, often giving us feedback and insight into how our son is during the day and observations on development. I particularly value the app that they use to give parents real-time updates about activities, eating, sleeping etc. I always look forward to photos of learning activities that are regularly posted onto the app.

From the moment I walked in I just knew this was the centre I trusted and wanted to send Taj to. All of the staff are beautiful and I can tell it’s not just a job for the educators, they genuinely care about the children.

Taj has been attending the centre for over a year now and It’s been such a positive experience from day one, with daily updates, fun activities, nutritious meals and a caring, fun and friendly environment for our little boy to thrive in.

What are your opening hours?

Westcare Port Adelaide is open Monday to Friday from 6:30am to 6:30pm.

What ages do you care for?

We care for children from 6 weeks to 5 years, in environments grouped by age.

Are you taking enrolments for 2027?

Yes, 2027 enrolments are open. Availability differs by age group, so call (08) 7094 2620 or enquire online and we will tell you what is open right now.

Can I look through the centre before I enrol?

Yes. Book a tour and we will walk you through the environment your child would join and answer whatever you want to ask.
